Mary Bangs is an ordained minister, teacher, intercessor and encourager to the body of Christ. She is a powerfully anointed woman of God, always seeking the depths of who Jesus is. Her life in ministry, as well as her love and passion for souls, has taken her to many countries around the world. She is being used by God to challenge those who are willing to pray and study God’s word beyond the norm and get in the face of God to know and understand what God is saying and requiring us to do in this hour and to be healed, restored and delivered.
The strength of her ministry and walk with the Lord is due to her active life of Intercessory Prayer and devotions as a student in the word of God. She is a visionary watchman on the wall, carrying the heart and compassion of Jesus. A special vessel set apart, a carrier of the Glory, a strategist that is raising the end-time army of God; these all describe the life and devotion of Mary Bangs.
There was a definite milestone in Mary’s life which marked the birthing of her Intercessory Prayer life. It began after her one-week-old daughter was diagnosed with a rare bacterial form of meningitis, which at birth causes these babies to die. Through this crisis, God taught Mary to believe in miracles, and her baby was miraculously healed. The entire story is published in a book, Set Free by Marvin Gorman. The recovery was so unique and amazing that NBC’s locally owned station WDSU presented “Prime Time,” a television special, documenting this crisis and victory for all involved. For 35 years Mary has been a successful business owner and operator, serving as master technician specializing in the art of nails at ‘Mary’s Nail Creations Salon’. Through her business venture, Mary has brought her ministry outside the walls of the church and branched out into marketplace ministry, taking every opportunity afforded her to share the Gospel of Christ with her clients, through discussion, prayer for their specific needs, and instruction from the Word of God. Both Mary and her husband Jake have been active in ministry throughout their married life of 45 years. They are the proud parents of two children as well as being loving grandparents to two grandchildren.
